Job Description: Perm candidates only Associate's Degree Basic Life Support Certification Required RN License Required 1 year of experience required SUMMARY Assists the Department Director in the daily operational management of the operating room. This includes responsibility for oversight of personnel issues, clinical oversight, and assistance with PI and Risk Management functions. Works with Director of Surgery to ensure optimum work flow/quality for patient care daily. Bachelor's of Nursing Degree from four-year college or university(in progress or achieved) preferred; Previous supervisory responsibility preferred. Demonstrated effective communication skills and problem solving skills. ACLS Preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Current Montana RN License ACLS, PALS certification preferred. CNOR preferred. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises employees in the assigned surgical department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
