Job Description: The nurse manager is responsible for the day to day operations of a service area and is accountable for the human resources, fiscal resources, systems, materials, and support necessary to achieve operational goals set forth in the annual nursing and organizational strategic plan. The nurse manager ensures that the quality of patient care meets legal and professional standards and also acts as a role model to other members of the health care team. Maintains guest relations, mission and value statements of Holy Rosary Healthcare. Position reports to: CNO Position supervises: RN, LPN, CNA, Unlicensed assistive personnel They report to the CNO they run both the ER(Urgent Care) and ICU…there are 5 RNs in ER and a ward clerk, 2 RN Urgent Care and, ICU has 9 or 10 RN’s Education/reqs: 1.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 2.Current Montana RN Licensure. 3.Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). 4.A minimum of two years in leadership role 5.Preferred BS or BA in healthcare related field with expected degree completion in three years 6.Demonstrated ability to provide leadership to a diverse, multidisciplinary team 7.Excellent interpersonal skills
