Job Description: Selected candidates will be assigned to sub-regional clinics in remote locations within the Yukon Kuskokwim delta. Collaborates with other healthcare professional to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient care and to achieve the best possible patient outcome. Serves as a resource person when the situation requires. Applies age specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. PA, NP must have completed an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Training Program and received and maintained certification. Two years minimum suggested experience level. Should have experience with reading radiographs and dispensing medication. Must have Alaska License and DEA license. Must have the computer skills needed to access computerized medical records. Needs the skills and knowledge to practice medicine in the area of their specialty to all age groups. We have more detailed information for these positions coming soon. All NP's and PA's will service villages around Bethel, AK. Need to have 2 years of CURRENT Family Medicine, Emergency Room, Women's Health, Peds Experience and Urgent Care experience after completion of NP/PA program. Must have background in Family Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner We should add that candidate must have two years of current fm,er, who, Peds experience. And must be comfortable seeing patients from neonatal to geriatrics in acute care and preventative care setting with limited support staff. FNP or ARNP, with experience in FM, ER, Peds, WH and OB. Aniak, St. Mary's, Emmonak, Toksook Bay and Hooper Bay are the villages with the sub-regional clinics.
